Zerion exists to identify powerful forces already in motion, then ask where value may migrate as those forces compound.
The work is intentionally calm. It does not begin by forcing a market view onto the world. It begins with a change in economic reality: technology adoption, regulatory redesign, infrastructure buildout, institutional incentives, or behavioral shifts that alter how capital moves. Institutional research can be valuable input, but Zerion exists to test assumptions independently rather than inherit conviction from size, consensus, or reputation. Many traditional reports are useful for understanding a company, but they often do not answer the question Zerion cares about most: whether a paradigm shift is early enough, durable enough, and tied closely enough to value capture to create asymmetric upside. That is why the site combines essays, calculators, PAR reports, source registers, trackers, and comparators: each part helps a reader move from personal foundation to research judgment without losing the trail of evidence.
Founder story
From independent conviction to a public research discipline.
Daniel Poling Wong reached financial freedom while few people believed in the path he was taking. His experience investing around structural opportunities, including Tesla and Palantir, raised a broader question: how can independent conviction be made more transparent, testable, and repeatable? Zerion grew from that question, not as a promise that one formula produces the same result for everyone.
